It is an OK hotel, not 5 stars

Out of season and it was very quiet, which was very nice. The Spa area was not very clean, there was not even a bottle of water for those who were using sauna, this is very poor. There was mould on some of the loungers.. The loungers did not have any cover, there was therefore no option to relax anywhere after sauna, I simply do not understand it. You sell your rooms but because it is not very busy you simply do not even care about those who come to stay. Also, they knew we were a couple but gave us two separate beds joint together.. Why? The bathroom was so tiny, that to be able to open the bathroom door from the inside we had to step into the shower.. Definitely not a 5 stars. For that price unnacceptable.

Good points: Hotel was stunning Dining options locally were perfect. Bad points: Coffee machine in the room didnt work. Jacuzzi was overflowing and not turned on. Cleanliness wasnt the best. Some stains on bed frame.

Enjoyed but could be better

We stayed one night at the hotel. I really enjoyed the check in process with some Prosecco, breakfast was great, pool area is very good. However I was very frustrated when I get in my room. I was told my room was upgraded but literally it just does have a lot of empty space and nothing else. The room was not clean, all cupboards were covered in and out with dust. General premises like the stairs were also very dirty. Overall was good. But I don’t think the season summer price is really fair.

Hotel review

Beautiful hotel, had a room upgrade which was appreciated. Lacked info about services. Spa online prices not updated therefore today’s prices are not reflected (massive increases). Breakfast nice, staff attentive. Large shower head not working neither was the coffee machine, no ordinary black tea left in the room on either day. Pool area lovely and great location in Pernera.

In this resort town suited for couples and families but still plenty going on at night for all. So as the sun starts to set on the eastern coast of Cyprus, the Protaras nightlife starts to heat up, and come alive. Protaras offers you an authentic Cypriot cuisine, with everything in between, from Japanese to Chinese to Mexican to Italian, one is obviously spoilt for choice for dining out, but you also have the choice of fast food ( junk food from US corporations) on offer.
